Lochie's pot
I've had to add a 'Lochie Pot' (Lucky Pot) to Lochie to make clear of where the hit test point was, because Lochie would initially miss coins from his neck and fins.

Nearly there!
My game is nearly finish. I still have a few things left to change, but once they're done, I'M DONE!
- Overlapping music
- Failure of showing up the end page sometimes
- Fix the end page and make it look pretty (!!)
Once I do that, I need some people to test it out and give back feedback.

Music mute button
I spent a good (at least) 45 minutes creating a music mute button! See that little 'click to turn music off' button? Small features that make a good game, but take up a whole lot of time to do.
Thanks to trainingtutorials101 for the help!

Oops
I've found out that sometimes, the end page doesn't load once the timer has hit '0'. Guess I have to fix this now.
In addition, the background music overlaps when I go from my homepage, to info page, and then homepage again. Hmm :/

Information page
I added an 'Info' page for those that want to know who the creator of the game is, etc. Just thought it'd be a nice touch.

Instructions page renovation
The instructions page has been changed. Originally, it was just a slab of text on the page, but now there's an animation that runs through to teach the player how to play the game, with additional images.
Looking good so far.

Progress update
Intro page, instructions page, actual game page, and end page has been completed.
However, the instructions and end page look a little plain, so I'm going to fix these a little later.

Plot change
Due to the narrow time limit required to finish this game, the plot has changed in order to be completed on time. The story now revolves around the Lochness monster which was originally meant to make a small cameo in the first draft. He will be called Lochie the Lochness Monster, and his job is to collect coins and avoid the hungry sharks. The aim of the game is for the player to collect as many coins as they can within 60 seconds. Depending on which coin they get, the more points they earn. However, if they get eaten by the shark, they lose 5 points.

Scenes in the game
This is the first setting that the game will open with. This layout will work as a background for the scene.
This is how the first stage will appear.
The second stage. This will be the background and more content will be added to it such as the keys etc during the making of the game.
Roughly what the inside of the castle will look like. The guard will stand in front of the door, and beside him will be his speech bubbles.
Below is the layout for the quiz stage. The questions and answers will be placed on a scroll.
The final scene of the game. Boy and Girl walk along the lake and out will come Lockie out of the water.

Preloader
The preloading screen will preferably have a patterned background (though not displayed on the side) as opposed to a solid colour as it is more appealing.
On the top right will be an image of Boy and Girl.
On the bottom left will have a picture of a character that will have a 'bouncing' movement as if it were a bouncy castle, and may possibly just tilt side to side.
The loading section will be placed beside the castle.

Game summary
- Temple Run theme
- Where's Wally? theme
- Impossible Quiz theme
> Game will consist of 3 different parts in order to conquer.
Story
Boy and Girl are sitting at a park having a quiet, peaceful, picnic, when Dragon enters and steals the girl to put her in his castle. Boy runs after Dragon in hope to save his beloved. Just before he begins to run, however, Wizard appears and introduces himself as the Boy's guidance during his quest. He tells Boy to run through the forest tells the player to use the up and down key to dodge items that might appear in the forest.
First stage - Temple Run
- Game will start with theme similar to the app Temple Run, however, instead of viewing the game frontwards, the game will be played on the side, like Super Mario.
- The player has to reach the end of the map in order to finish. Throughout the game map, obstacles will randomly be placed either on the ground or above the character's head that the player must dodge. Failure in dodging these obstacles 3 times will end the game.
- The background will be repeated and the character will be a stick figure, not due to the lack of creativity, but because of the amount of time the game will require, hence making the protagonist simple.
- Controls required in this part of the game are the up and down arrows.
Story
Wizard appears once again and tells Boy to stop running as he is now deep in the forest. He also tells Boy that where he is, Dragon's guards have hidden 5 keys in the area that the Boy must find in order to enter the castle. Wizard then fades away, making this scene his last appearance.
Second stage - Where's Wally?
- This stage will have a theme similar to the game Where's Wally?.
- The player must search for 5 keys in the area in order to open the castle.
- There is a key hidden in a tree, under a leaf on the ground, inside a tree hollow, on a bridge, and in an apple (the top of the key being visible).
- If the player mis-clicks 3 times, the game is over.
- Controls: mouse
Story
Boy finds the 5 keys and then finds the castle. He opens 5 locks on the castle door and then enters. When inside, he is greeted by Guard, who is friendly and strange. Boy tells Guard that he is going to visit Dragon, and Guard tells Boy that he must answer 10 questions before he can visit the dragon, and that he only gets 3 chances.
Third stage - Impossible Quiz
- The final stage of the game will be similar to a flash game called Impossible Quiz.
- The player is asked a series of 10 stupid, and irrelevant questions.
- Getting 3 wrong answers will result in the loss of the game.
- Controls: mouse
Story
Boy enters the Dragons lair. Girl is in an elevated cage. Dragon welcomes Boy and the camera zooms out and the door to Dragon's lair closes. The player only hears the fight with a series of punching noises and the words 'KAPOW!' 'BOOM!' etc coming up on the screen. The scene then closes.
In the next scene, Boy and Girl are walking by the lake, away from the castle. As they walk, Lockie, the lochness monster that resides in the lake, pops his head out of the water and eats the girl up. The camera then zooms into his eyes, he winks, and then the scene closes and the game ends.
